Here's what people are saying about the book
THe History of New Haven Township
Jayme,
The book came it today's mail. It is wonderful. I can't thank you enough.
If there is an award for this kind of thing, it should go to YOU. Your final product is a joy to behold. You must be very proud of it.

Jayme,
your book entitled "History of New Haven Township" arrived before Christmas but I had to put it aside due to all the visitors to our house and visits to kids houses and all that sort of thing.
I got through it today. It's a great book. There's a couple of paragraphs on great-grandad and multiple notes about my grandfather andhis daughters. Even a picture of B. Owen driving a wagon using horses . I also saw many, many names of those I knew back when I was a kid up on the farm for the summers.
I also learned a great deal more than I knew of the relationships between families. I hadn't understood correctly that Les Utphall was an uncle of yours. Of course, we knew him well - he and uncle Ed Carlson swapped labor and resources back and forth for decades. And everyone knew Jake & Pearl.
This book is well worth its price. When I quit looking at it every day, I'll put it on the shelf right next to the "Dunn County History" published in 1984 by the DCHS. I especially note that your work is much larger than theirs!
Thanks so much for all the work you put into this fine book.
Best wishes,
Owen - Panama City, Florida

HOWDY JAMIE . . .
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR EFFORTS TOWARD THE HISTORY OF NEW HAVEN. I WAS
WARMED WITH OLD MEMORIES WHILE GIVING IT MY FIRST SCAN. I ALSO SUGGEST
THAT IT COMES ACROSS AS A HOMETOWN GIRL'S STUDIED WORK, AND NOT SOME
SOME FAR OFF "PERFESSER". THIS IS PLEASING.
I HAVE CONNECTED A FEW DOTS ON HOW SOME OF THE FAMILIES TIE TOGETHER.
AND NOW HAVE PHOTOS TO REVIEW THOSE OLD FAMILY NAMES.
I OFFER MY ACCOLADES HERE, FOR YOUR SPLENDID HISTORY, CONGRATULATIONS !
AND I LOOK FORWARD TO CHATTING WITH YOU THE NEXT TIME I AM AT THE KORNERS,
GOD BLESS,
JC - Holland, Michigan

Hey Jayme,
Got the book. GREAT JOB. This must have taken you years to
compile. Scanned through it, but after the holidays will have a good
winter's read. My sister in-law called me today as she had also gotten
her copy. She too was very excited. She has many more memories of New
Haven than I do. We still marvel at what led us to stop at your house
that day. FATE, I think so. Again, thank you. Some day I will be
back in the area and will sure look you up.
A happy blessed holiday to you and your family. Don't spoil those
grandkids to much. HaHa.

Jayme,
Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into your book. It's wonderful! I haven't read it all, but have picked out some parts. It's hard to do Christmas and genealogy at the same time. So, I'll get more into your book after New Years. So exciting! And I know Kathy is pouring over the book. We'll compare notes and go from there.
Have a merry Christmas!
Love and peace,
Ruth Ann - Vallejo, Ca

Hi there!
Just wanted you to know we are really enjoying the book! You certainly did a lot of work. Thanks!
We saw on page 220 a picture of the sawmill and was surprised to see Ken in the picture. What fun.
Thanks again for a great job!

Jayme,
I can't wait to see it. So far I have only heard raving reviews. When Ray called to tell us that he had picked up the book he told my husband that Carol had been up all night reading it and that he had spent all day looking at it. And earlier he had mentioned the same thing about Denny ...that he had been up all night reading. It sounds like you did a wonderful job of research.
Happy Holidays, to you, also.
